Matthew C. Young, MD is a Board Certified Family Physician with over 20 years of experience. He has been awarded Best Family Medicine Physician in Colorado Springs in 2015, 2016, and 2018. Dr. Young specializes in diabetes, hypertension, psychiatric problems, coronary disease, testosterone therapy, among many other medical problems.

In his free time, Dr. Young enjoys mountain biking, rock climbing, boating, and spending time with his family.

Kristin Sekelsky is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 14 years of experience. She specializes in Women's Health, Pediatric Care, Hormone Replacement Therapy, and many other medical problems.

In her free time, Kristi enjoys cooking, rock climbing with her children, wake surfing, and spending time with her friends and family.

FAMILY PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

Hannah Slater is a Board Certified Family Physician Assistant. She was born and raised outside of St. Louis, Missouri.

After graduating from DeSales University, Hannah decided to move to Colorado to continue her career as a Physician Assistant. She fell in love with the state's stunning natural beauty and the opportunity to work in family medicine. She provides compassionate care to patients of all ages.

In her free time, Hannah enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors, reading, and spending time with her cats and her husband.

FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER

Ian Chapman is a Colorado native who has dedicated his life to serving his country and his community. Ian's service in the United States Army as a forward observer included two combat tours in Afghanistan. After being medically retired from the Army, Ian pursued his passion for healthcare.

As a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Ian is committed to providing compassionate and personalized care to his patients.

In his free time, Ian enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, and pursuing his hobbies of weightlifting, hiking, and fishing.

Amanda Barson is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who was born and raised in Colorado.

She graduated from Vanderbilt University and is excited to start her career back in her hometown. She is committed to providing compassionate care to patients of all ages.

In her free time, Amanda enjoys snowboarding, volleyball, and spending time with her friends, family and dog.

CANINE ENTERTAINMENT OFFICER

Charlie loves meeting and greeting all the patients at Elevated Family Care.

In her free time, she enjoys belly rubs, treats, and going over to Grandma’s house.
